In the leading editing software - Avid Media Composer
I'm an Avid Media Composer expert.
Since I've been editing, for over 25 years, I've been teaching.
I help veteran editors learn what they don't know about the software, and improve their editing - in private lessons, corporate trainings or advanced courses.
I guide organizations and groups to improve their control of the software, and to get to know the 'new' interface of Avid.
Who am I
I'm Yaron Livnay, a veteran editor, graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree (almost) in the department of film and television, at Tel Aviv University.
I have my own studio, where I edit docu-films, television and also films for companies.
I teach the lessons either in the studio, or on Zoom, according to the students' choice.

From my clients:
Avid Media Composer course for advanced editors
Since the transition from tapes to files, Avid has developed and changed a lot.
Many editors who learned Avid years ago and have been working on it since then, did not want/dare/find the time to update.
They edit without a problem, but utilize a small percentage of the software's new capabilities.
This course is designed to introduce, explain, and practice the editors in using all of Avid's advanced tools.
student feedback from the courses:
Shira:
"A valuable and important course for any editor who wants to expand their technical knowledge. In a technological world that updates constantly, Yaron's lessons are invaluable support. His patience and ability to explain things clearly and simply are a tremendous gift. Thank you!"
Yael, Third Cohort: "Yaron is an excellent teacher with immense knowledge, and he finally brought order to the chaotic, multi-format world we work in. As an editor who has been working with AVID for years, he managed to teach me new software updates and many shortcuts - things that will definitely help me in my daily work. Yaron, you are my mentor in the digital world!"
Noga, Second Cohort: "Thank you for the important course!"
Martha, Second Cohort: "Thank you again for the course, it restored my confidence in various aspects and provided a foundation I felt was somewhat lost."
Eleanor,:
I wanted to say thank you for an interesting and fascinating course. I learned so much about AVID in a short time. It turned out that for a long time I was working with files in an entirely incorrect way, and now everything seems much simpler and correct. Beyond file management, the tips received in the lessons are just... wow!! A gift for every editor, helping to maximize AVID's capabilities. The course greatly enriched my knowledge in AVID, files, exports, formats, and enrolling in the course was one of the best decisions I made. In my opinion, this is a must for any veteran editor who learned to work with tapes and simply transitioned to working with files without fully knowing what they were doing."
